It has been a strange weekend. It started off quite well. I went to the Albert Hall to see Tim Minchin in concert. We got the tickets for a bargain price and his show was excellent. We didn’t get back until well after midnight, which is rare in our lives, so it felt like [...]   I am sitting here on the sofa in my dressing gown. I have not been outside since Saturday. I am not coping I went to the Doctor on Friday. I had seen the signs. I had noticed the lack of energy, the need to sleep, the complete lack of engagement and interest in [...] Well, yesterday was a long long day. I had planned to cycle home at 6pm, shower, get into my pyjamas and go to bed early. Didn’t happen that way though.. One of my colleagues received a telephone call in the afternoon saying that her gran was dying and that if she wanted to [...] Well, I’ve been at work for a couple of weeks now and I’m starting to make some progress. I have spent today networking all of the computers after we moved office along the corridor. So now I have my own desk! The job is frustrating at the moment as I can’t really get ‘stuck [...] Hallo there again. I always seem to leave it so long to write a post that by the time I do, I’ve forgotten all the interesting stuff that’s happened in the meantime! I went for an interview and didn’t get the job. I’m a little bothered that I wasn’t chosen, but I wasn’t very [...] OMG! I have an interview!! One of the jobs I applied for and hadn’t heard anything. The interviews were supposed to be today, so I thought that I hadn’t been selected. I got an email today inviting me for interview next week. Bonus! In other news, work is still, well, hard work. There just [...] Is it better to stay where you are, with what you know and work at something that’s not quite right, but not awful either. Or, to try something new. To go somewhere you will get close to a dream, but which could see everything crumble if it doesn’t work out? I’m torn. K and [...] I know, I know. Long time no write (again). I have been so busy at work and at home that I have just not had the time to sit down and write a blog entry. I’m snowed under at work, so there’s no chance of me getting 5 minutes to do an email post. [...] A beautiful sunset Well, back to work again. A full week. And it started badly. Well, actually, that depends on when you class the day as starting really.. I could not get comfortable last night. I managed to fall asleep at around 5am, only to be woken by my alarm at 7am. Joy. [...] Well, it’s Monday again. *yawn* I got into work late this morning. I decided to have a snoozle. I’d been doing some work over the weekend, so I more than have the flexi hours to cover it. I was feeling a bit down this morning, see. I’m not sure why, but maybe it’s just [...] |
