I’ve been thinking. Over the past few days, I’ve been thinking the same thought. I’m a lucky lady. I’m sitting here, on our new sofa, in the living room of our lovely flat, with two little doggies by my side. I have the television on pause while I write this, an empty glass on [...]   I’m exhausted. I’ve just single-handedly moved our new sofa into the living room. The 2 removal men couldn’t do it. K couldn’t do it. But I’m a stubborn bugger and I didn’t want to send it back to the shop! I did worry for a while when it got completely stuck and would NOT [...] Just a quick one as I’m at work (after hours) updating. The move went ok: the removal men started at about 9.20am and finished around 4.15pm. So it took a whole day! The new flat is lovely, but smells of wood and paint and I can’t find anything! Yesterday our new fridge-freezer was delivered, [...] A good book for charidee I’m really really busy at work at the moment. I’m trying to get round to see everyone before I’m off for 2 days moving house, then for a week. I had around 13 clients I needed to see, plus agents. I’m getting there, but it’s 12-hour days at [...] Yeah, so today, in casual conversation, K says to me: “oh! I got stopped by the police yesterday!” “Did you?” I ask. “What for?” (knowing that her car isn’t working at the moment so it can’t be a random traffic stop) “Well.. I was outside work at about quarter to 11 at night waiting [...] It has been a bit of a strange day today. I went into work a little late as I was feeling pants this morning. I got out of bed on the wrong side as I was in a foul mood. Driving to work, I saw a rat running around in the road and on [...] What an evening! After a hard day of work, I was out with one of my clients having a coffee. I came back to the car and the battery was absolutely flat!! Luckily K came to the rescue. I called her to come and help me out while I walked over to the nearby [...] Romance is NOT dead I have a problem. It’s a pretty big problem in the scale of things I think. And despite my best science, I can’t quite solve it. Bananas. Yes, bananas. I like bananas, see. It’s one of the very few fruits I can actually eat. (only one a day mind!). [...] I’m writing, but I don’t really feel I have much to say to be honest. I didn’t sack that agent in the end. I offered him further training. If he attends the training, then I can watch his reactions etc during that time and get a better idea of his views on things. The [...] I currently have ‘poor bunny’ status. Despite the fact that K has been coughing now for over 2 months. I have ‘Man Flu’. I’ve had that thing they talked about in the news I think. Tummy problems. And then heavy cold symptoms. Bleurgh!
