It has been a strange weekend. It started off quite well. I went to the Albert Hall to see Tim Minchin in concert. We got the tickets for a bargain price and his show was excellent. We didn’t get back until well after midnight, which is rare in our lives, so it felt like [...]   I am sitting here on the sofa in my dressing gown. I have not been outside since Saturday. I am not coping I went to the Doctor on Friday. I had seen the signs. I had noticed the lack of energy, the need to sleep, the complete lack of engagement and interest in [...] I worry that this blog is just going to become a big whinge-fest. Every time I want to blog, it’s when I need to work through something in my head. And that’s usually depressing stuff. But then, sometimes just ‘getting it out there’ helps. I have the blog, so why not use it? [...] Today was confusing. I felt really down for no particular reason. The day didn’t start off too well. I was meant to get to the bicycle shop for 9am to get my bike in for a half price service. I hit the snooze button too often and so didn’t get there until just [...] Hallo there again. I always seem to leave it so long to write a post that by the time I do, I’ve forgotten all the interesting stuff that’s happened in the meantime! I went for an interview and didn’t get the job. I’m a little bothered that I wasn’t chosen, but I wasn’t very [...] A beautiful sunset Well, back to work again. A full week. And it started badly. Well, actually, that depends on when you class the day as starting really.. I could not get comfortable last night. I managed to fall asleep at around 5am, only to be woken by my alarm at 7am. Joy. [...] Happy New Year everyone. At the moment, I don’t have any resolutions. I’m undecided as to whether to have any resolutions at all. Or to do them monthly. I’m currently sitting at work, in between bouts of Tetris and Solitaire, periodically breaking the wheels on my chair because I’m too fat, and decided that [...] Well, it’s Monday again. *yawn* I got into work late this morning. I decided to have a snoozle. I’d been doing some work over the weekend, so I more than have the flexi hours to cover it. I was feeling a bit down this morning, see. I’m not sure why, but maybe it’s just [...] I went back to work today, and I was a grumpy bugger all day! I went in late coz, what the hell – I have no manager at the moment and over 10 hours in the flexi bank. I lay in my bed last night trying to get to sleep, but just getting more [...] I didn’t get the job. He SAID it was really close. He SAID I interviewed well.(They ALWAYS say that) But that the other person had more ‘contacts’ in the area, so that’s why she got it. (go figure). She wasn’t very subtle about it.
