OMG! I have an interview!! One of the jobs I applied for and hadn’t heard anything. The interviews were supposed to be today, so I thought that I hadn’t been selected. I got an email today inviting me for interview next week. Bonus!
In other news, work is still, well, hard work. There just seems to be so many things that need to be done and that can’t really wait. It’s all taking up a lot of my time. I worked on Sunday and have been working this evening until about 8.30 (after an hour’s break to go to Tescos). I do like my job – the bits where I’m actually out and about and meeting people. I LIKE that bit. I don’t like being stuck in the office doing the mountains of administration that goes with the job. Also, I found out today, from an AGENT, that my boss has been signed off until mid May. Is it just me, or is that just wrong?? Surely someone should have told me how long I’m meant to be covering for!? Now I know that I will need to get an agent in to help me with training next month as my manager will DEFINITELY not be back. Nice of them to let me know… Meh! Anyway. No matter. Maybe I’ll be out of there soon..
Mrs Pillows has also been looking for jobs too. We have started to move bits into the new house and getting excited about the possibilities. A lovely garden with GRASS. And SUN. CARPET and a MUSIC ROOM for me! Good stuff..
I have recently begun tweeting. It’s an interesting concept, but very nice. I like the idea of being able to send short messages off into the interwebs which are then available for comment. I can let off steam or just pass random comment and then look back at a timeline of my day when I get home. It’s an interesting concept. I don’t know many people personally who use twitter, so it’s not such a social network facility for me – especially since 02 don’t yet offer text notifications. But I’m going to keep with it as I’m quite enjoying it. I have tried a few different N95 mobile phone clients for Twitter, but I think my favourite so far is Twibble.. Not that I particularly like it, but it seems better than Shozu and Fring. (though Fring IS pretty amazing for Skype, Msn and yahoo chats). If only I could program for mobiles myself…
Anyway. I’m a little snowed under with work and have a long day tomorrow so I’d better get off to bed. I STILL haven’t even LOOKED at my training for this weekend, never mind amended it for the agents doing new roles. Ho hum!
