I’m Back! (again)

Woo hoo! I’m back! My domain name expired, and the company didn’t send me any reminders, so the site was down for a few days. But I’m back now! Should be (hopefully) no more down time until my hosting runs out in 6 months now.

Well.. apart from all my valentines cards getting lost in the post and never arriving (I’m sure they must be out there somewhere…) I’m ok. I’m still single, and no more dates as yet. But I’m working on it :)

Last night I went to a new womens club (read, lesbian night) in a nearby town. I was really looking forward to it. And it was ok. Apart from the fact that nearly everyone there was over 50! There were 3 couples under that age, and the rest were between 50 and 70. And pretty rude to boot! So no eye candy. And I got no numbers. But I did see a few familiar faces which was nice. And ended up singing Lionel Ritchie to the paper rose I had made into a ring.

Work is going ok. Am starting to get on top of things again now after my period of ‘not being on top of things’. I was only that way because of a depression last week. Not sure what happened there, but I had a good chat to a friend on Monday night, a bit of a sniffle, then got up on Tuesday and got on with things.

On Sunday, a friend is coming to stay for 2 weeks with her 2 pug dogs until she can move back into her home. I’m wondering how I’ll cope with someone else being around. It will be good, but I’m such a cantankerous old cow now, I might get a bit moody lol! But there’ll be 2 pugs to cuddle for a couple of weeks :) And maybe a couple of cups of tea in it for me ;)

  1. Hooray, you’re back! There was great concern across blogging world about you being missing.

I sometimes worry that I wouldn’t cope with anybody staying for more than a coupel of nights – but at least you get some dogs to look after for a bit, which is what you mentioned you wanted to do previously.

    Welcome back.

    Ditto what was said above.

    Welcome back!

After lurchers & greyhounds, pugs are my favourite dogs, you lucky thing.

Actually, some over-50s can be quite attractive ;)

oh was it ‘all night long’….

Saesnes – indeed some over 50s can be VERY attractive. Helen Mirren is a shining example of such :)

Misfee – no, I think it was ‘truly’. I still have the ‘rose ring’ I may auction it off. “Rose ring with a hint of lemonpillows singing a love song”. :D

    Glad to see you back!!!

I will have to jump in here to say that SAESNES herself is a very gorgeous lady of a certain age ! :-)
