Ok, ok. So I’ve been really bad at updating recently… The weeks before Christmas were a bit up and down, and I so couldn’t wait for the break.. But I’m feeling much better than I was 
I’m all grinning and dancing around today, because a very good friend is in love. And it’s so sweet!! And I’m so happy for her I’m all jealous – don’t we all wanna be in love? But wow.. it’s so nice to see a good friend happy It makes me happy too So that’s some fantastic Christmas news
So I drove back ‘oop north the day before Christmas Eve (Saturday). Set off at around 2pm and got here about 9. So not bad including breaks The next day, I went to Tescos to get some final Christmas presents, and saw a laptop for a fantastic price.. So, with my savings, (heh – savings – ME!! how cool!!) I went back and bought it! So I’m sitting here writing my blog on my shiny shiny new laptop And for Christmas I got some brilliant, classic DVDs – Steel Magnolias, Beaches, Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, My Fair Lady And I got an epilator, which I have already used on my errant chin hairs, so I’m all soft and smoooooooth
I’ve not decided when to drive home yet, but I’m not at work until the 3rd, so I might go back New Years Day.. I could go back tomorrow, but then I’d just be spending New Years on my own, which wouldn’t be good for my mental health. So I might stay up at mum’s and spend New Years Eve here..
So how y’all doin out there? Y’all had a good Christmas?? I’ve been staying up late, getting up late and just generally chilling.. I do need to hoover out my car though while I have a chance.. And I wanna by a wireless modem / router as cheap as possible so I can use my shiny shiny new laptop online when I get home!

Welcome back. It sounds like you had a really good break and are all refreshed. Spending New Year’s Eve with people seems a good plan, it starts the year off in the right way.
I haven’t had such a great time of things while I have been off but maybe I’ll blog about it in time to come. I got some good Christmas presents though!
